For our in-house guests, Rainforest Estate is the perfect location for a romantic garden wedding, an intimate reception, or a special celebration such as a birthday or anniversary with family and friends.
There are many spectacular indoor and outdoor locations on the property for a function.
From the garden lawns overlooking the swimming pool, to the timber decks by the creeks and bamboo stands under the rainforest canopy, spectacular outdoor settings can be left natural or themed in your personal style. Undercover, the double story atrium, alongside the two story ceiling to floor waterfall, or the poolside patio, provide ample backup in the case of inclement weather or if you have a preference for an undercover or “climate controlled” event.
We specialise in elegant functions for in-house guests only (maximum of 50 guests). Intimate ceremonies, chic receptions and / or fine dining for sophisticated groups is what we do best. We also cater for cocktail party style functions where strict formality is not a priority.
We also provide a complete Elopement service that allows you to simply turn up to a totally planned function, designed to your exact specifications, without having to deal with most of the things you would normally have to worry about, all included in a highly competitive price.
If required, we can help you design and coordinate your function to help make your big day totally unforgettable.
Our trusted service providers and suppliers can work with you to deliver a first class function. We can work with you to organise the hire and / or set up of any additional equipment or services you may require, including caterers, photographers, celebrants, florists, entertainers, transport and more. However you are not locked into any one service provider or supplier. You are free to choose whichever providers and suppliers that suit your preference.
But please note, we do not permit larger or noisy groups who simply want to party late and loud.
And after the big event, no need to leave. You can stay for a romantic wedding night and / or an extended, totally indulgent honeymoon / holiday. The exclusive and spectacular residence can accommodate you (and perhaps some of your special guests) in the lap of luxury and complete privacy.
Function Rates, Important Terms & Conditions
Only groups staying at the property may hold functions with up to a maximum of 50 guests (including guests staying in-house).
The function fee is $300 per hour (minimum 4 hours, maximum 8 hours) function guests are on the property (i.e. from $1,200 to $2,400 per function) over and above the rental charges (see Rates & Terms page).
There is also the requirement to engage a function manager and service staff for the duration of your function.
If all function guests are staying at the property, no function fee is payable and the function manager and service staff are optional.
Our function manager currently charges $60 per hour to supervise the set up, break down and the full duration of your event. Our function staff currently charge $35 per hour to set up the bar, serve food and beverages, keep the venue clean and safe for the duration of the function and clean up afterwards. Our function manager and service staff comply with the Responsible Service of Alcohol guidelines.
There may also be other variable costs to transport guests to and from their accommodation (we do not allow external guests to drive to and from the property), equipment hire (tables, chairs, crockery, glasses, etc), catering, entertainment and any other costs incurred to suit the size and style of your function. Our function manager is happy to assist you with identifying and booking these services.
We do not permit amplified outdoor entertainment. Noise restrictions apply after 10:30pm. All guests not staying in-house must be off the property no later than 11:00pm
Discounts may be available for smaller functions (less than 40).
